Photograph of the sinking of the Princess Kathleen.
Color horizontal photograph of sinking ship. The boat's stern in underwater. Boat is located in the lower proper left of the photograph and along the proper left edge. In the center of the photograph and towards the proper right side are lifeboats and debris from the sinking ship. Shoreline is seen in the lower proper right corner. Mountains and land are in the background. Ship is the Princess Kathleen.
Notes:
The Princess Kathleen ran aground and sank at Lena Point in Lynn Canal, Alaska on September 7, 1952.
