The man on the proper left is wearing khaki pants and a blue shirt. He is Dave Palmer, former city manager of Juneau. The man on the proper right is wearing a United States Navy dress white uniform. Presumingly he is the captain of the vessel. The LPD—10's logo is a circle with a yellow back ground with a shield a the center. The shield features mountains, a evergreen tree and two stars. An alligator flank either side of the shield.
