Title:
Asst Chief Jim Carroll 4th July 1994
Date:
July 4, 1994
Description:
Color photograph of a float in the 4th of July parade.
Background is a blue building. Middle ground is a man in fireman pants, red suspenders, dark shirt, and red white and blue bandana on his head. Only the side of his face is visible. There are also three American flags on the vehicle he is riding on. It might be a fire truck. In the foreground Jim Carroll is sitting on a ladder on the vehicle. He has a white hat with dark bill and badge on the front. He has a red shirt with "Jim" on it and blue jeans. His mouth is slightly open. In the bottom proper left corner of the photo there is a white box with "Salt Water" written on it. The rest of words are gone. It is Salt Water Taffy. Jim is eating a piece and has a wrapper in his hand. He must have been throwing it to the crowd in the parade. On the proper right bottom corner there is a red bag with the word "Fighter" visible but upside down.
Under the photo on the papertp which it was taped "Asst Chief Jim Carroll 4th July" is written.
On the back "July 4th 1994" is written.
