Description:
A photographic slide in a small cardboard frame (off white with red rear text "Color Transparency" and front logo for Perfect Photo, Inc.). The frame is labeled "Wickersham 6—28—68" in handwriting. The image shows a lateral view of a large white vessel docked at what looks to be a concrete pier. The view seems to be looking astern on the port side, and several lifeboats hang from the topmost deck. On the surface of the topmost deck, there appears to be a covered promenade, behind which there is a blue smokestack. There are people milling about the center of the pier, and in the background, a police car is parked. In the foreground of the pier, a bandstand has been constructed and is draped in red, white, and blue bunting. The number "4" is printed in ink on the frame at the lower right, and the text "JUL 68" is etched on the lower edge, possibly signifying the date of development.
