Eight (8) children, three (3) boy and five (5) girls are the subject of the photograph and are posed behind a fence in the foreground. Seven (7) of the children are standing; one (1) child, to the far proper right, is sitting on the fence, one leg on either side. Various buildings make up the background. Print is adhered to a piece of composition board. In lower proper left of board, photograph is identified as "Indian Children at Mission School. Juneau." Along the proper right edge are three holes, approximately evenly spaced, that once held sheet into an album. Verso is blank.
