Description:
Black and white photo, now yellowed, applied to brown photo board with 2.375 inches by 2.625 inches border. Image shows "store front" of John Feusi's Indian Curio shop on Front St in Douglas. John Feusi and assistant are standing in doorway with Feusi on proper left, dressed in native garment. Surrounding the men on outside of building, on boardwalk and on props in street, are native made baskets, totems, beadwork, paddles, miniature canoes, halibut hooks and hides / skins. Sign above left window advertises "HARDWARE/FURNITURE". 'Curio' sign made of moccasins.
Inscription: "JOHN FEUSI, DEALER IN INDIAN / CURIOS DOUGLAS, ALASKA / E.A.HEGG PHOTO" on lower front of photo.
