Black and white oversize postcard.
Front: Panoramic view of downtown Juneau from Mount. Juneau to Gastineau Channel. Appears to have been taken from near waterfront. Postcard folds twice to "normal" postcard size. Inscription along bottom edge from left to right, "No 1 / JUNEAU, ALASKA / COPYRIGHT 1909 BY WINTER & POND CO".
Back: Divided into 3 sections by folds. Left section blank. Center has brief history and facts about Juneau entitled, "JUNEAU, THE GOLD BELT CITY". Right section, center, "POST CARD" Below, divided into 1/2s, 1 for messages, other for address. Along left edge, inscribed vertically "Copyrighted 1909, Winter & Pond, Publishers, Juneau, Alaska" Upper right corner is printed square for stamp w/ prices for domestic & int'l.
