"Alaska" is written in pencil. "69 Morrison St., Portland, Or." is on the bottom proper left.

Notes:
    Ship in photo is thought by me to be the SS Idaho of the Pacific Coast Steamship Co. Similar to the SS Queen but note the sailing ship raked bow, single promenade deck and short distance between aft mast and funnel. Ship was first to enter Glacier Bay in 1883 and lost in 1889. Handwritten date 1890 is thought incorrect. (Jim Geraghty)
