Description:
Black and white studio photo of a man and woman in clothing from late nineteenth century. Man, on right, has on tie, striped shirt and peacoat and has a mustache. Woman is wearing white shirt with dark jacket and chest—length necklace. Her dark hair is pulled into bun. Both are wearing ribbons that say "ALASKA PIONEERS" pinned to their chests. Photo is cut into horizontal oval and glued to brown cardboard mat. Bottom proper left corner has embossed mark, "W.H. Case / Juneau, AK".
Back — handwritten inscriptions: "CECILIA KUNZ" toward upper right top. "My God / mother Mrs. S. / Cecilia Kunz" near lower left corner.
