Sent to Gastineau Channel Historical Society by donor. Donor's father help built the Salmon Creek Dam in 1913—14. The Salmon Creek Power Plant, which is 2.5 miles up Salmon Creek & 1 mile from dam, 1st operated by Alaska Gastineau Mining Co, then Alaska Juneau Gold Mining Co. & now owned by AEL&P Co.
