Description:
Black and white photograph of a float plane (sea plane) pulled up along side a shoreline. Text on the side of the aircraft identifies it as a part of the Alaska—Washington Airways fleet. On the shore near or under the plane's left wing are four or five men (four men are clearly visible. There may be a fifth behind one of the others). There is also cargo on the shore next to the men. Trees, a waterway and snow covered mountains in background.
Verso has a stamped number "7" in the lower proper right corner in blue ink.
The photograph is of the unloading of passengers and cargo at Tulsaquah on the Taku River in 1931.

The album belonged to William G. Brian Harland. He was a mechanic for Alaska—Washington Airways and Alaska Southern Airways. He was based out of Juneau.
