Description:
Black and white photograph of an aircraft and two men. The aircraft is being viewed from the proper right and back. The cabin has three windows and a door with an additional window. The cockpit is above the main cabin. The airplane is a float plane (sea plane). There is a man standing in the cockpit. His body is angled away from the camera, but he has turned his face toward the photographer. He wears an eye patch which identifies him as Wiley Post. Another man is standing on the right wing of the plane. His right hand is gripping the top edge of the open cabin door. His body is facing the cabin and he is looking out over the aircraft away from the camera. Tree covered mountains in background. In the lower proper left corner of image is white text reading " ORDWAY c 1935". The "c" is enclosed in a circle and is the copyright symbol.

On verso at approximately center is an upside down red ink stamp with text reading: "THIS PHOTOGRAPH \ IS FOR YOUR OWN USE ONLY AND IS \ FULLY PROTECTED BY COPYRIGHT \ AND NOT TO BE COPIED OR REPRO— \ DUCED IN ANY WAY WITHOUT PER— MISSION FROM \ ORDWAY'S \ PHOTO SHOP \ JUNEAU — — ALASKA".
