Title:
Old A—J Housing Drill
Date:
Fall 1988
Description:
Color photograph of a drill at old A—J housing Fall 1988.
There is an old blue house on the proper right in the background. Next to the house is a high chain link fence that surrounds an electric pole. In the foreground there is a fence like structure made out of wooden boards. They look like they might have been scorched. In the middle ground are 9 firemen. Two are on the proper right edge of the photo. Neither of them have helmets on and one is wearing a black uniform and the other a yellow. Talking to these two are two other firemen. They are in full yellow uniform with helmet and tank. In front of them is a fireman also in full uniform who also has a gas mask on and is visible from a side view. There are three other firemen from the middle to the proper left edge. One of them looks to maybe be a woman. She is standing in front of the electrical pole and does not have a helmet on. The fireman that is closest to the camera and does not have a helmet on is identified as J Eberhardt. That name is written on the piece of paper the photo was taped to.
