Black and white image of port side of wrecked ship. Ship located in top one half of picture plane. Entire ship can be seen lodged on top of rocks. Rocks and water are in corner of picture plane. 0.125 inch white border surrounds image. Words "Prince Rupert / wrecked Mar 23 / 1917" appear in white 0.875 inch up from lower proper right corner, written on negative before printing. Dark spot appears in image on top proper right corner.
