Horizontal color photographic print of Sockeye Salmon at Steep Creek in the Mendenhall Valley in Juneau, Alaska. The foreground shows numerous spawning Sockeye Salmon in the water. The salmons' bodies have already turned pink in color while their heads remain green. The scene splits horizontally at approximately center. In the background is a landscape featuring the Mendenhall Glacier and surrounding mountains.

Print was matted and framed in 2015 upon acquisition. Mat is off white and frame is one and half (1.5) inch wood painted semi—gloss black.
