Description:
A photographic slide in a small cardboard Kodachrome frame (brown with red trim). The frame is labeled "St. Ann's Band 7/4/56" in handwriting. The image shows a marching band, clad in white shirts, blue skirts, and yellow shoulder capes, traveling south on Franklin Street. At left is a building housing the Alaska Electric Light & Power Co. There are no spectators in sight, but cars line the left side of the street. The number "9" is printed in red ink on the frame at the upper left.
