Notes:
Boat was built in a Seattle yard, the same firm and architect as the USFS Ranger boats, H.C. Hansen. Built of yellow cedar. Built by the Forest Service to service the Maybeso Experimental Forest Station, near Hollis on Prince of Wales. It was used to move USFS goods and personnel around Southeast Alaska. Later the University purchased it from the US Navy. It was used by the EPA,Alaska State Fisheries, and NOAA for periods. Dave Abel purchased it from the University on a bid in 1996, who uses it to make service calls to other boats in the Elfin Cove area. Its a good ocean boat. Draws 7'.
