Description:
Framed 16" by 20" charcoal portrait of Edward Webster. Frame is 5.75" thick, has five layers of differing widths: dark brown wood with floral gesso, plain black oak, ornate gesso floral with gilded look, metal band and thinner ornate gesso floral with gilded look. Glass plate covers drawing. Rectangular piece of green paper encloses glass and portrait and fastened to back of frame. Drawing has yellowish tint and bordered by 16" by 20" cream colored mat. Subject drawn from shoulders up, background is darkly shaded.
