A — Album page, 7" x 11.25" manilla paper , with handwritten captions on front and back.

B — Black and white photo, approximately seven totems in front of building with sign reading "BEAR TOTEM STORE". Shop windows underneath sign and more carved figures on upper part of building. Label in upper proper left corner reads "Bear Totem Store ~ Wrangell ~ Alaska". Caption below photo: "Some of the Totem poles which Floyd saw on his sight seeing around town. Its a great town for totems."

C — Black and white photo, view of Petersburg from the water. Water fills bottom half of photo; town runs across upper third approximately 1.5" from upper edge of photo, with mountains and sky at top. Three boats in foreground on water. A band of clouds crosses photo horizontally between houses and mountains. Printed in lower proper right corner: "M[illegible]EN" and "PETERSBURG — ALASKA". Caption below photo: "Still Tuesday, Aug. 13, at noon we arrived here, as we had an hours stop here we went ashore to view the town and look for Dean Kaylor, whom we found at the cannery, he took us to his apt. to meet Mrs. Kaylor. I like this town very much for is in a valley with the mountains in the distance." Caption to proper left of photo: "Tuesday noon Aug. 13th".

D — Black and white photo of dog. Dog is white on face, neck, front legs, and back paws, with darker body and hindquarters and dark patch over visible eye and ear. He is lying with his head raised and facing toward proper right; eyes are closed, mouth open, and tongue hanging out. A length of chain is attached to his collar and disappears underneath him. Four people — two women, a man, and a boy — are gathered in upper proper left corner, watching dog. Ropes, hooks, and a large round smokestack—like structure in background. Caption below photo reads: "This large dog, "Magick," is one of father Hubbard's finest. A very friendly dog.

E — Black and white photo of man with three dogs. Man has light, straight hair and is wearing white long—sleeved shirt; he crouches on deck of a ship facing slightly downward, with arms around three dogs. Dogs have white and dark patches; tongues of proper right and center dogs are hanging out. Partially visible figure stands at proper right edge of photo, reaching out left arm to scratch head of proper right dog. Another figure in background. Caption below photo reads: "These are three of Father Hubbard's dogs and his helper. Notice the two pups have white eyes."
