Description:
Black and white photograph of the construction of the Juneau Cold Storage, the view is captured from the street. Wooden beams are raised for the ground floor of the building, missing walls and a ceiling. The site is mainly contains a low—fenced enclosure. To the proper right of the site is another building. To the proper left of the site are several other stores next to one another. There is a telephone poles along the side of the street. On the proper right there are six people spotted in the photo. A man is standing on the construction site. A young girl is standing at the entrance of the construction site. Four men are near the fenced area surrounding the construction site. On the proper left, there is a construction worker carrying a piece of lumber walking towards the direction of the telephone pole. There are two men seen walking from the other end of the street, passing by the construction site. In the background, a mountain is seen. Written in white on the bottom of the photo is text that reads, "Juneau Cold Storage July 15 1927 Elite Studio."
