Thirteen people and two dogs posed in front of Douglas Steam Laundry — sepia—toned. Photo mounted on two shades of gray cardboard.
Photo is 9 1/2" X 7 3/4". "X Mom" indicates Mrs. Davis (fourth from right). Printing on bottom right hand corner. Handwriting on back in pencil.
Inscription: "DOUGLAS STEAM LAUNDRY / Mrs. D. Davis, Douglas, Alaska / Bet 2/3 / Bulli(?) or Buth(?)."
Notes:
Mrs. Dull's mother — Mrs. Lizzie Davis is marked with the "X". Mrs. Parvin in apron to right of Mrs. Davis.

This information was given by Maimi Jensen. Mrs. Grundler is the second person from the left. She is hiding her right arm behind her because she had a wooden arm. The person to the far right of the photograph is Mr. Gus Grundler. The boy with the dog could be Mr. and Mrs. Grundler's son. The gentleman in the door way (6th person from the left) is Mr. Johnson, manager of Douglas Steam Laundry.
