Description:
Black and white photograph a float plane (sea plane) docked in front of a wooden aircraft hanger. The hanger has the text "Alaska \ Southern Airways" along its roof line. The float plane is viewed from the front. It has a running propeller on its nose. Water in foreground. There are three men man standing on the hanger's floor at the proper right of the image. Other buildings and docks in background. There are a couple people on the docks in the background to the proper left.

Verso has a stamped number "73" in the lower proper right corner in blue ink. Handwritten in pencil on the back is also the words: "gordon — 1 \ John \ Cot —2".
Photograph is of the plane "Petersburg" at the Alaska Southern Airways hanger.

The album belonged to William G. Brian Harland. He was a mechanic for Alaska—Washington Airways and Alaska Southern Airways. He was based out of Juneau.
