Black and white photo of Charles Goldstein's store on South Franklin Street. Roof has decorative overhang. There are four entryways into elongated single story building. Front entirely of sectioned glass windows. Above the windows are multiple vertical panels.
Man walking across planked street on right hand side. Numerous houses on hill in background. Card has narrow white border.

Originally Anna Goldstein's General Merchandize Store. Of no relation to Anna, pioneer Goldstein family acquired it (Inventory Historic Sites & Structures CBJ 1986).
Robert Goldstein arrived in Juneau in 1885 & opened a store on S. Franklin St (Centennial Gazetteer 1979). Building is now the Filipino Hall.
