Polaroid photos, all have red Kodak stamp on backs.
A — Coarse stone mosaic of State of Alaska with plaque commemorating raising of Forty Nine Star flag.
B — Boy Scout shaking hands with man in suit. Written on back: "David Meeting / Benny Benson(?) / Author of "Alaska's / Flag Song" / This on July 4, 1959 / 49 Star flag of / Statehood was raised, / FOR FIRST TIME OVER / ALASKA'S new state / Capital."
C — Alaskan flag attached to white helium balloon. Written on back: "Raising the / 49 — star flag / over State Capitol / July 4 1959".

Benny Benson designed Alaska flag & was not author of "Alaska Flag Song. "Alaska Flag" was written by Marie Drake.
Mosaic monolith reportedly built by Ralston A. "Dutch" Derr, according to is son Romer E. Derr. Built from native stone, and probably concrete. It was torn down and disposed of at some point.
