A: Black and white photograph of the ground breaking for the Juneau Cold Storage plant, on June 8, 1927. The photo focuses on the construction site, which appears to have four (4) quadrangular—shaped holes dug with numerous planks of lumber around the site. There are two people spotted in the photo, in the back. Writing in white on the bottom of the photograph reads, "Breaking Ground for the Juneau Cold Storage June 8th 1927 Elite Studios"
B: Black and white postcard in sepia tone of the ground breaking for the Juneau Cold Storage plant, on June 8, 1927. The photo focuses on the construction site, which appears to have four (4) quadrangular—shaped holes dug with numerous planks of lumber around the site. There are two people spotted in the photo, in the back. Writing in white on the bottom of the photograph reads, "Breaking Ground for the Juneau Cold Storage June 8th 1927 Elite Studios". The top left of the postcard was cut off.
On the reverse is printed text indicating where correspondence, address, and stamp should be placed. There is handwriting in pencil, it reads "Duplicate"
