Photograph of the sinking of the Princess Kathleen.
Color horizontal photograph of ship close to shoreline. Ship is located center in the photograph. Text is visible on both sides of the ship identifying the ship as the Princess Kathleen. Shoreline is seen in the lower proper right corner. Two smaller boats (life boats) are seen in the water between the shoreline and the main ship. People visible on the smaller boats. Mountains in the background.
Notes:
The Princess Kathleen ran aground and sank at Lena Point in Lynn Canal, Alaska on September 7, 1952.
