Description:
A: Envelope to hold negatives. Labeled: "10/13/55 Empire First National Bank".
B: Negative in horizontal view of an interior, presumably First National Bank, photographed from the rear and facing toward the front. The room is long, with open areas for tellers divided by pillars on either side, with counters facing outward. There are tables for writing deposit slips in the center aisle of the room. In the foreground is a wood panel counter. In the distant background, the front glass doors are looking out onto the street.
C: Negative in horizontal view of the exterior of the bank, photographed from across the street. The glass doors and front windows occupy the center of the image, with "First National Bank" in metal lettering emblazoned across the top of the window. The facade is set into the ground floor of a larger building, whose windows are visible moving toward the top of the image. A car is visible at right.
D: Negative in horizontal view of the interior of the bank, photographed from the front this time. There are plants and flower arrangements all over the place. People are occupied at the tellers' counters and center tables.
E: Negative in horizontal view of the same interior, again photographed from the front and showing the rear in thebackground, but completely empty. There are no plants or flower arrangements.
F: Negative in horizontal view of an office, photographed diagonally. The walls are covered in wood paneling. There are windows at left, covered in ornate drapery. Two armchairs sit under the windows. At right is a disk, empty save for an ink blotter and inbox, with a chair behind it.
G: Negative in horizontal view, identical to negative "E."
H: Negative in horizontal view, identical to negative "B."
I: Negative in horizontal view, showing the same interior, similar to the previous negative, except that the camera is shifted to the right, photographing the room diagonally and showing the left side more prominently.
J: Negative in horizontal view showing the exterior of the bank. Photographed from the sidewalk immediately in front of the doors, but on a diagonal, also showing the sidewalk moving down the street and the buildings farther on. Parking meters are visible at left, along with parked cars.
K: Negative in horizontal view, identical to negative "C."
L: Negative in horizontal view showing the interior of the bank, arranged similarly to negative "D," with plants everywhere and people milling around.
M: Negative in horizontal view, identical to negative "J."
N: Negative in horizontal view, identical to negative "I."
