Description:
A: Envelope to hold negatives. Labeled: "10/16/54 Knight — Friemuller Wedding".
B: Negative in vertical view showing the interior of an unknown building. A man and woman are walking along a wall, dressed in a suit and gown, respectively. They may be a bride and groom, but this is unclear. The woman wears a veil, so is probably a bride. A spectator can be seen seated to the right of the walking couple.
C: Negative in in vertical view of a group of people standing behind a long table or dais, probably the wedding party. There are men and women both, all finely dressed. There are cups and plates on the tabletop, and what appears to be a cake.
D: Negative in vertical view of three women in gowns, all leaning down toward the floor. The middle woman lifts her dress slightly to show a garter around her leg, probably the the performance of the wedding garter tradition. Chairs can be seen on either edge of the image.
E: Negative in vertical view of an indiscernable interior. There are three women in gowns, the center one is probably the bride, due to the veil. The other two women stand on either side of her busying themselves with adjusting the veil.
F: Negative in vertical view of the bride facing a mirror, looking at herself in the veil and gown. Her backside can be seen at the left side of the image.
G: Negative in vertical view of an interior of what may be a private home or event hall. The bride and a man, presumably the groom, stand at a table littered with indiscernable objects. Together they inspect what seems to be a card.
H: Negative in vertical view of the bride and groom standing behind a dais or long table together, cutting the wedding cake in unison. Behind them on the wall hangs a decoration of entwined hearts with both of their names, Chuck and Marilyn, written on them.
I: Negative in vertical view of the same interior, with the bride and groom facing one another and feeding each other pieces of cake by hand.
J: Negative in vertical view of the bride and groom again cutting the cake in unison.
K: Negative in vertical view of the wedding ceremony, in the interior of a church. The camera is situated down the aisle opposite the altar. The bride and groom are departing from the altar and walking down the aisle together. Gueses can be seen sitting in pews on either side of the aisle. In the background are candelabras and a few people at the altar.
L: Negative in vertical view of what seems to be the wedding reception, with the head table off to the right of the image, with boxes and gifts on it. Several women are standing to the left of the table, seemingly clapping or cheering. Others stand in the three doorways which lead off to other rooms.
M: Negative in vertical view of the church exterior, showing the couple leaving from the front door under the steeple. A crowd of people waits to greet them. The image is overexposed at the left side of the image, so visibiluty is limited.
N: Negative in horizontal view, with the bride and groom standing together on the altar inside the church. They are surrounded by flowers, and in the background on the altar, there are chairs, a piano, and candelabras.
O: Negative in horizontal view of the bride and several other women, probably her bridesmaids, standing at the altar in the church interior. The camera angle and positioning are identical to the previous negative.
P: Negative in horizontal view with the entire wedding party, including bridesmaids and groomsmen, standing at the altar. The camera angle and positioning are identical to the previous negative.
Q: Negative in horizontal view showing the bride and groom and one other man and woman, probably the best man and maid of honor, standing at the altar in the church interior.
R: Negative in horizontal view of the bride and groom standing together at the altar in the church interior, the positioning and angle of the camera being identical to that of the previous few negatives.
