Description:
A: Envelope to hold negatives. Labeled: "11/30/55 Elks".
B: Negative in horizontal view of an interior, possibly of a lodge or event hall. A group of men in suits are arranged in two along the steps of a raised area. Behind them on the raised area are a low—backed chair at left and an upright piano at right. In front of the center man in the front row, a vertical sign stands, helf by the center man. It reads "Juneau 420. Elkdom's Progress Class honoring John L. Walker, Grand Exalted Ruler, & Orville Paxton, District Deputy G.E.R, Alaska East".
C: Negative in horizontal view of the interior of an event hall or lodge. In front of a large alcove, a tall, narrow altar has been arranged, with candelabras and flowers on either side, and a cross atop it. A sheet of paper leans atop the structure too, with a list of what appear to be names. Men sit on either side of the altar, and a man stands behind it. A lectern stands at left, with a man behind it.
D: Negative in horizontal view, identical to negative "B."
E: Negative in horizontal view, identical to negative "C."
F: Negative in horizontal view, showing the same interior from negatives "C" and "E." There are now two women on either side of the altar.
G: Negative in horizontal view, showing five women standing behind and to the right of what appears to be an upright paino. A door is visible in the center background behind them.
H: Negative in horizontal view of the same interior from negative "F." There are two men talking at the right of the altar, and three seated in chairs at left.
