Description:
Black and white vertical photographic negative of a woman. The woman is wearing a dark long jumper dress and white long sleeve top. She is sitting and facing front. She is wearing glasses and she is holding a made in Japan miniature totem pole. Film is Kodak brand.
Most likely a 1960 Passport photograph.
Notes:
The 2013.10 collection was transferred from the Alaska State Historical Library in 2013. The ASHL Accession number was 1999—056. A copy of the ASHL collection guide is located in the accession file. This object came from "Box 1 of 6, Negatives, 1955—1963, 19. 60 pp" listed on the ASHL collection guide. The main box (box 1 of 6) was a cardboard banker's box and the smaller division was a Kodak 4x5 Film Box. The descriptions determined from writing on the Kodak Film boxes. Boxes were not kept.

Henrietta Newton is the mother of Richard Newton (JDHS Class of 1957 & JDCM 2013.10.00154) annd Myrna Newton Allen.
