Description:
A: Envelope to hold negatives. Labeled: "9/10/54 Moragle Wedding".
B: Negative in horizontal view of the interior of a church during or after a wedding ceremony. The bride and groom stand together at the center of the image, the bride on the left and groom on the right. Behind them is the richly adorned altar, with sculptural icons set in alcoves on the wall at either side. Two rows of pews are partially visible in the foreground of the image.
C: Negative in horizontal view of the same couple in the same interior, with the image cropped slightly closer.
D: Negative in horizontal view of the same interior, this time with two people in addition to the bride and groom, presumably the maid of honor and best man. The best man stands to the left of the groom, and the maid of honor to the right of the bride. The image was taken from farther away, so three rows of pews are now partially visible.
E: Negative in horizontal view of the same church interior, this time with the bride and groom standing on either side of the pastor, who is dressed in long white clergyman's robes.
F: Negative in vertical view of the same church interior, showing the bride and groom, standing in front of the altar close together, the groom behind the bride. Their bodies are arranged slightly toward the left of the image.
G: Negative in horizontal view of the same church interior, with the birde and groom standing in front of the altar on either side of the pastor.
H: Negative in horizontal view of the same church interior, with the bride and groom again standing with the best man and maid of honor in front of the altar.
I: Negative in vertical view of the interior of a private home or event hall, showing the bride and groom standing together before a table in the foreground, cutting the wedding cake which sits upon the table amongst other food and serving items. Behind them are windows and wall decor such as a clock.
J: Negative in vertical view of what may be the interior of the private home. The bride and groom stand before a table littered with indiscernable objects, possibly wedding gifts. They are holding and examining one such object. To their righ, the wall bears a cross, and behind them is garish drapery.
K: Negative in vertical view showing the exterior of a structure, probably a private home. It is principally of brick, with a deep enclosed portico under which there is a closed latticed area. Several women, including the bride are exiting through the door of the portico and descending stairs toward the image's left.
L: Negative in vertical view showing the interior of what may be a private home. The bride and groom are standing on either side of an older, seated woman at the table with the wedding cake.
M: Negative in vertical view showing the interior of what may be a private home. The bride and groom stand before the windows, facing one another. The bride is feeding the groom a piece of wedding cake.
N: Negative in vertical view of the interior sitting room of what may be a private home. A large group of finely dressed men and women are arranged around a sofa in the center of the image, some standing and some seated. The bride and groom are seated in the center of the sofa. Behind the group is a large set of windows, and there is furniture on either side, as well as a chandelier hanging above.
O: Negative in vertical view of the same interior and the same group, arranged identically to the previous negative. This image is cropped slightly closer.
P: Negative in vertical view of the interior of what may be a private home. The bride and groom stand in a sitting room with an older couple on either side of them, possibly the parents of one of them. This may be the opposite side of the sitting room from the previous two negatives, as the chandalier is the same.
Q: Negative in vertical view of the interior of what may be a private home. The bride and groom stand at the head of a long clothed table, with serving vessels atop it. Behind them is a large draped window and flowered wallpaper. A stained glass chandalier hangs above the table.
R: Negative in vertical view of the interior of what may be a private home. The bride and groom are positioned in front of a table, cutting the wedding cake. Their gaze is slightly to the left of the image.
S: Negative in vertical view of the exterior of a structure, possibly a private home. There are steps in the foreground leading to a covered portico, where several people are gathered.
T: Negative in vertical view of the interior of the church during the wedding ceremony. The pews are filled with guests and the wedding party is beginning to depart down the aisle. The image was taken from the rear of the church and slightly raised. Details of the ceiling such as cross beams and lighting are visible.
U: Negative in vertical view of the exterior of a structure, possibly a private home or the church. There are steps in the foreground leading to a slightly enclosed courtyard with a covered portico at left and windows at the rear. The bride and groom are preparing to descend the steps.
V: Negative in vertical view of an interior hallway with decorated carpeting. On either wall their are coat hooks with hats and garments hanging from them. Several people populate the hallway, mostly women, but one man is discernable.
W: Negative in vertical view of the exterior of a structure, possibly a private home or the church. The bride and groom are walking slightly to the right toward the foreground, between a parked car and the brick structure. Behind them is a no parking sign.
X: Negative in vertical view of the interior of the church during the wedding ceremony, with the wedding party at the front of the church facing the altar. The pews are filled with guests.
Y: Negative in vertical view of an exterior, inside the covered portico, taken from the steps. The bride and groom stand in the portico facing the camera.
Z: Negative in vertical view of the church interior during the wedding ceremony, arranged identically to negative "X".
AA: Negative in vertical view of the church interior during the wedding ceremony, arranged similarly to negatives "X" and "Z" but with the camera shifted to the left of the church's rear.
BB: Negative in vertical view of an unknown interior, with the birde and another woman, the other woman primping the bride's veil.
CC: Negative in vertical view of the same interior, with the bride and an older woman, possibly her mother, standing side by side in front of windows with blinds.
DD: Negative in horizontal view of the original interior church scene. In addition to the bride, groom, best man, and maid of honor, there is another man in a suit not matching the others, standing to the left of the other men. The shot is set up identically to negative "C". Prior to cataloging, this negative was unlabeled.
