Description:
Black and white horizontal photographic negative of a couple. The wife is wearing a white top glasses and earrings. The husband is wearing a wool sports coat casual shirt and a bolo tie and tie clasp with an S monogram. The are sitting and facing front. Film is Kodak brand.
Notes:
The 2013.10 collection was transferred from the Alaska State Historical Library in 2013. The ASHL Accession number was 1999—056. A copy of the ASHL collection guide is located in the accession file. This object came from "Box 1 of 6, Negatives, 1955—1963, 19. 60 pp" listed on the ASHL collection guide. The main box (box 1 of 6) was a cardboard banker's box and the smaller division was a Kodak 4x5 Film Box. The descriptions determined from writing on the Kodak Film boxes. Boxes were not kept.

Identified 03/09/2015 as Ernie and Beatrice Parsons, parents of Isabel Parsons (2013.10.02108). Identification made by Pierre Sundborg and verified by Heather McLean Sweeney, the couple's granddaughter.

Ernie Parsons was an electrical contractor — Parsons Electric — for many years in Juneau.
