Description:
Black and white print of drawing of the downtwon Juneau waterfront. The view is from the downtwon docks between the downtown Public Library and Marine View Park, facing Marine View Park and Mount Juneau. The wooden boardwalk, adjacent parking lot and the water of the chanel are all in the foreground. There are boats and seaplanes (float planes) in the water. The buildings of downtown Juneau are in the foreground, including: City Hall, the Sealaska building, the State Office Building, the Federal Building, the Hanger at the Wharf, The Mendenhall Tower Apartments, the Gross 20th Century Theatre, and the Baranof Hotel, among others. Mount Juneau is in the background, though the summit is not visible. The paper has been indented around the edges of the drawing to make it appear as though it has been matted. Below the bottom edge of the drawing at the lower proper right corner is text reading: "10/70". Below the bottom edge of the drawing at center is text reading: "Juneau Waterfront". Below the bottom edge of the drawing at the lower proper left corner is text reading: "Laurie Ferguson Craig c 1983". The "c" has a circle around it making it the copyright symbol. All text is handwritten in pencil. Verso is blank. Bottom edge of paper is unfinished.
