Description:
Carbide Tipped Drill Bit. Cylindrical, hollow, exterior painted orange. Sticker around shaft has barcode, the brand ("SECOROC") and a model/serial number ("102—5037—99,39—20 / 90513899 1067426"). Beads on end are carbide. Two holes are so that water is pumped through them to keep dust down. Use for split set bolting of swell—ex style rock bolts.

Addison Field, the then curator of collections, received material from Caroline Cave and Mike Martin during a tour of the Greens Creek Mine in October 2010. Caroline Cave is the health and safety director and Mike Martin is the Mine Supervisor.
