Green drafting—pencil sharpener. The pencil sharpener includes a green textured, round metal base and a matching lid. The lid has two silver protrusions: A half inch opening to insert the pencil and a circular silver top engraved with the name of the manufacturer, Lietz. The object's base is black and has a padded rim around the edge. The numbers 1099 are engraved on the sharpener's base.
Notes:
This pencil sharpener was used in the Drafting Room at the US Bureau of Mines. It was made by Lietz.
