Protractor in black leather case.

A — Protractor. Silver protractor with Mantua, Woodbury Height, N.J. engraved in black in the center.

B — Black leather case with green lining. Top of the case has faded white writing. Bottom Left and right corner edges are embossed in gold with Mantua and USCE respectively. There are metal fasteners on the front. Back hinges and front fastenings show some signs of rust. The lid does not close completely.
Notes:
This protractor was used in the Drafting Room at the US Bureau of Mines for map making. It was made by Mantra Metal Products Co.
