A. Scriber Arm — Labeled on dial, on underside:"K&E LEROY PAT 2,050,057—58 2,011,195—PAT DES 127,962". This scriber is adjustable
B. Symbol Template Number 120 — 120 thousandth of an inch, white with black symbols etched into the surface.
C. Letter Template Number 500 — white with black lettering, centimeter scale along the bottom edge. Reverse has numbers and symbols.
D. Letter Template Number 350 — white with black lettering, centimeter scale along the bottom edge. Reverse has numbers and symbols.
E. Letter Template Number 290 — white with black lettering, centimeter scale along the bottom edge. Reverse has numbers and symbols.

M. Scriber — pen style scriber. This scriber is fixed and can not be adjusted mechanically. Metal socket at one end designed to take pen nibs. Handle is made from two different color plastics, end nearest the writing end is white the other end is black.
N. Pen Number 000 — Small steel pen nib. A long shaft of metal topped with a cylindrical head. On top of the head is printed the number of the pen: "000". The shaft of metal sits in a steel cone, that tapers down in three steps to the width of the pens nib . The cone holding "000" is the cone for pen number "2". Not numbered.
O. Pen Number 00 — Not numbered.
P. Pen Number 0 — Not numbered.
Q. Cone for pen number 2 — pen nib is missing. Not numbered.
R. Pen Number 3 — Not numbered.
S. Pen Number 4 — Not numbered.
T. Pen Number 5 — Not numbered.
U. Pen Number 6 — Not numbered.
V. Cone for Pen Number 7 — Pen nib is missing. Not numbered.
W. Pen Number 8 — Not numbered.
X. Tracer Pin — Extra tracer pin with a green plastic band around one end. Larger than the tracer pin that is mounted in the fixed scriber.
Y. Un—Identified metal cylinder — open at one end.
Z. Wooden box — Designed to hold the lettering set. Wood is varnished. Box is latched closed with two brass J—hooks. Illegible Bureau of Mines identification sticker on the outside top cover, lower proper right. On the inside of the cover is an instruction sheet for used of the Leroy Lettering set. On the top proper left is printed in black ink: USBM 20940.
Notes:
Pen number 1 and 2 are missing. Pen number 7 is incomplete, the nib is missing but the cone to hold is present.
