Title:
Gold pocketwatch case with floral design
Description:
A small, circular—shaped gold pocket watch. Actually it is missing the inner mechanisms, so it is the front plate and the metal housing. The face plate is separate of the outer housing and it is "B" and the outer housing is "A".The outer housing also has the chain attachment on the side. On the back side is an engraved floral design of the outer housing. On the inside of the face plate is a diamond with an arm and hammer logo. It might be of the Swiss watch making company, "Sandoz". There is also a number, "784310" engraved below the logo.
Notes:
Found on Telephone Hill before parking lot paved behind the "Spam Can" building, not far from current State Office Building. Found by donor's friend, Mike Carter, who later moved to Mariposa, WA.
