Description:
Blue and white plate with gilt lettering. Center transfer print design of stone church surrounded by large evergreen. Church has Gothic entry, near Statue of the Virgin Mary. Foreground is stone fence containing lawn. Bottom center inscription: "THE SHRINE OF ST. THERESE / JUNEAU / 1938". Outside border is blue with white leaves to either side. At top, "ALASKA" written in gilt. At bottom center, "1992" written in gilt in white border.
Back: Logo in blue transfer print of wheat or flowers w/ letter "TM".
Inscription: "ROYAL BLUE CHATEAU / MFG. BY TIDEMARK CO. / ORLANDO, FL. / PLATE NO. 14" handpainted gilt. Beneath inscription: "The Shrine of St. Therese is nestled in the / woods on a small island about 23 miles / north of Juneau. The church is accessible via a gravel causeway off the Glacier Highway."
