Description:
Double sided wool pennant, dark blue with cream—colored 1.0 inches edging of twill on vertical edge. Edges of pennant have double stitching with dark blue and black thread. Each side bares machine—appliqued polar bear, sewn with dark blue and black thread, seated on blue five—sided flat surface, sewn with blue thread and letters stitched diagonally to right of bear emblem with white thread. Top and bottom of twill edging have 0.75 inches brass grommets. One side of twill is printed in pale red and blue.
Inscription: "JYC"
"(illeg) FORGE...(illeg) FLAG/BE CAREFUL OF MOTHS / ALL NEW WOOL" on twill.

This is the standard Juneau Yacht Club flag flown on members' vessels, per Mary Ann Parke.
