Description:
Oval ceramic side dish. Alaska Steamship Company logo inside dish. Off—white color with light blue band bordered around upper rim. Thin green line around interior of dish.
Inscription: Logo on inner surface of dish "ALASKA STEAMSHIP CO" and "THE ALASKA LINE" with "A" in center of red flag in center of logo. Manufacturer logo on bottom of dish "BUFFALO CHINA" in black and "R F J" in green. All inscriptions under glaze.
Notes:
Collected & preserved by Thomas S. Parke. Beach combed in northern SOUTHEAST Alaska, possible from "Islander" wreckage in Greens Cove, Admiralty Island.
