Lid flat with "flat—button" handle on center of lid. Fine bubbles in glaze overall. Drip of walnut brown glaze has run into off—white glaze.
Notes:
From the family home of Thomas S. and Vera L. Parke. Pot probably acquired in the late 1930's by the Parke family. Pot used in kitchen (apple—green paint spots match the walls!) into the 1950's and subsequently stored in the attic. Pot put back into use by Mary Ann Parke as a cookie jar in the 1980's and 1990's. Later preserved as decoration until donated to museum.
Washed with warm water, dish soap and soft cloth.
