Description:
Rectangular, natural finish, Ginny doll scale hand made wood armoire. Full length swing open doors. Wood door handles. Four metal door hinges. Shelf and clothes bar across width. Four 0.5 inch high feet glued to base. Feet, clothes rod and door handles of dowel. Fastened with inset nails with putty filler. Joints glued probably with resorcinal. Eight handmade copper wire hangers included with armoire dimensions: 2.0 inches (h) by 4.0 inches(w)
Notes:
Given to Mary Ann Parke during mid 1950's by her father Thomas S. Parke. Case made of scale by Tom Parke to go with Mary Ann's Ginny doll and accessories. Parke frequently made scaled accessories for his daughter's doll accessories, stools, toy boats, etc. See 2002.11.097 for history. Coat hangers made by Tom parke to fit in the armoire.
