Notes:
Set made during mid 1950's by Thomas S. Parke for daughter Mary Ann's Ginny Doll. Mr. Parke would cut out, usually with a band saw, and assemble furniture under the ever watchful eyes of mary ann. Painting was done by Mary Ann (5—10 years of age) with a final check by dad. The products were carefully set or hung over the boiler to dry, always ready for the next coat of paint or announcement of completion by the next evening. Red, green and silver were common choices for project colors as these were the same as used on the Parke Family boat and thus readily available, See 2002.11.097 for history (Ginny Doll)
