Description:
Large oil painting depicting a winged figure, eyes closed, at the upper PR foreground playing a violin, wearing denim pants and barefoot with one foot on alder stump. In the background, historic Juneau waterfront up to the tops of the mountains, prominently featuring tree stumps on the hillsides. Framed in ridged wooden frame with roundels in the corners. Oil on canvas, mounted on wood panel.

Purchased from David Woodie, Seven Winters Fine Art and Design PO Box 21878 Juneau, AK 99801—1878 phone 586—9595. The JDCM had a solo show by the aritst in early 2004, but wanted an artwork with a Juneau theme. This artwork was traveling with the All—Alaska Juried art show at the time. Fairly extensive description of the artwork by the artist included in the file.
