Legs for Plane Table


At top, black metal cap with screw cap for alidade. Three wooden legs come out of cap. They are held on by large metal bolts. Each leg has three pieces, the outside, middle and the outside. The middle piece is adjustable. There are two metal screws around the bottom that keep the legs from extending. At the bottom of the middle leg, there is a rubber foot. The legs may be held together with a leather strap.
Notes:
Used to hold a plane table when using an Alidade to make a map.
