Doublesided woodcut by Dale DeArmond featuring Owl Woman and Person with Two Fish
Front: Owl Woman; Woodcut carving depicting large totemic owl figure, head upper left, hovering over a smaller crouching woman lower center. Woman's right hand is extended above fish grouping that covers lower edge and next to figure. Water at bottom, devil's club leaves at left, above a basket of fish. Crescent moon at upper right. Ink on block is blue. Handwritten text in pencil reads: "Canceled block / Dale DeArmond / 1978". Text is along the proper left edge approximately center and is written upside down.
Back: Person with Two Fish; Woodcut carving depicting a man standing in a doorway hold a large fish in either hand at his side. Two additional fish decorate his torso. Man appears to be wearing a hooded parka, gloves and boots. To the proper right of doorway there is a coffee pot at the bottom, a spear extending the length of the block and a peg with rope coiled around it near the top of the spear. Ink on block is black.
