"Castell" Tin Pencil Case

Description:
Rectangular tin pencil case has top and bottom interlocking pieces, joined by two hinges on back side. Tin is horizontal and has rounded corners. Outer surface and inside of top lid are printed. Outer surface is pale gold with shiny gold accents. Lid also printed in red and black with gold and has 1.625 inches square printed shadow scene of two jousting knights in red, blue, yellow, and black. Inside of lid is printed in green on cream background in German, French, and English. Inside lower half is silver and shiny. Small paper price tag on bottom, center is square with cut—off corners, printed with blue ink on white stock.
Inscription: "A.W. FABER CASTELL" on lid
"A.W. FABER CASTELL—BLEISTIFT—FABRIK A.G." in lid
"B 16 50GR 50 DOZ 5 (cents) Ea" on price tag
