"Geological Survey" Rubber Stamp

Description:
Rubber stamp glued to .25 inch by 1.375 inches strip of rubber that is glued to slot in handle. Handle formed of curved wood with flat sawed—off sides and is finished with dark—brown stain (except on sides). Two horizontal slots in end of handle, about .125 inches deep, which hold convoluted piece of white paper with red printed letters that appear to be print of rubber stamp. Some traces of red ink in stamp.
Inscription: "GEOLOGICAL SURVEY"
