"District Mining Supervisor" Rubber Stamp

Description:
Rubber stamp glued to .25 inch by 2 inches strip of rubber that is glued to wooden handle. Handle is formed from curved wood with flat sawed—off sides and is finished with dark stain that has not been applied to sides. End of handle has two machine—cut narrow slots about .125 inches deep that span width of handle. Top of end of handle has split off cleanly and is missing. One small loss at end of handle on bottom left. Some traces of ink remain on stamp.
Inscription: "DISTRICT MINING SUPERVISOR"
